you need the part number and serial number off the side of the radio and give it to your local suzuki dealer and they will have the code for it some times will charge for it ?.
the code is normally on a little sticker inside the service book, if lost,maybe the selling dealer will keep a copy(highly unlikeley) it is not on the unit.
if lost then the only solution is get a radio specialist to unlock the unit.
This is a security feature. COD means Code. same thing happend to me on my volvo, i called the local dealership and they asked me for the vin and looked it up. hope it helps

some times radio has to be removed and part number and serial number is required from radio then authority form faxed to radio supplier for vehicle to get answer back.
some are able to get this access using secure dealer web sites. ask for code and then keep it for future.
