I installed an aftermarket raido in my 1989 buick electra and my running lights and dash lights stopped working. How do i fix it ?

Internal failure

thats the anti theft and would be near impossable to remove , contact a dealer as there is most likely a way to reset the anti theft

check your dash ground. the tail lights and dash lights run on the same circuit.

if the fuse is good, a ground is your most likely culprit.

you need to check the codes, if the ses light was on it will have a code, after you get the code get back with me and we will see if we can get to the bottom of your problem.

Chec your relay for your flashers usually is right under the driver side dash. Consult your auto manual for more specifics.

You need to have a computerised diagnostic done and read the error codes and take it from there.

It's the same bulbs I believe, so look for the flasher module, the most likely suspect. It should be a round metal or plastic can, pretty accessible under the driver's side dash.

They use a different flasher module for the emergency lights because it's turning on and off more bulbs.

turn the black wing nuts to remove taill lamp

ya could be a bad filter. or maybe your injectors are getting bad.

do you have taillights? most of the time there on the same fuse. also chk. to see if plug is all the way in on your headlight switch.
