Water under glove compartment

The floor on the passenger side is wet and it seems that water is draining into the car from behind the glove compartment. The liquid is just water and seems to be coming from the air conditioning system. I believe that the external drain is somehow blocked and I need to unclog it. I can not find the drain and I don't know what it looks like and where it is exactly.

The "weep drain" is located on the firewall inside the engine compartment. It's only like a 3 or 4 inch tube probally 1/4 to 3/8 in size. Probally has a right angle in it. Use a metal coat hanger to poke up in there and move about. Water will pour out. Or you can take the weep drain out but most people, even mechanics, just poke it open and call it done. Happens all the time on older vechiles, never seen or heard of it happen on this new of one but hey, first time for everything.

2012 Toyota RAV4 passenger floor wet after it rains. Leak stains on left side under glove compartment. Doesn't happen every time it rains. I just bought it this summer 2023, when it wasn't raining.

Question edited for clarity, add maker.
Question moved to model category.

Based on our research the RAV4s with wet floors are usually, but not always, clogged sunroof drains or drain outlets. Other RAV4 owners found that the body trim surrounding their windshield or even the fender panel had degraded and failed, allowing water to seep in during heavy rain.

1997 Nissan Sentra when it rains water leaks in on the passenger floor somehow behind the dash Maybe

Don A has an excellent answer, but if you have a sunroof, that is more likely the reason. The pipe runs down between the door pillar and the windshield and there is often a join there which can part. Be careful with compressed air as it can blow joints apart.

Water leak on drivers side in my 1999 Honda Civic DX Coupe

Go to the passenger side or driver side there you need to find the A/C drain tube make sure that it is draining outside and not in the compartment area. This drain hose tends to pop out, so when you have the A.C on you notice there is water draining out but in your case its going in thhe car.
