1999 oldsmobile silohuette window stopped rolling down on driver side and change motor still nothing. What could it be?

Need to get a wiring diagram. Buy a book and follow the wiring schematic. It should help you out majorly. Can't really work on electrical issues without one.

no idea with this american made motor sorry ,pop the switch out and have a look as i have often done this on the quick for people

check owners manual for fuse locations, there are two locations, under the hood and on the driver side of dashboard

I have had to replace three of the four window power regulators in my 2000 Durango. They just seem to stop working within a year or two of each other.

sounds like the alignment on the windows is bad just my thoughts

Remove the door panel and find the window motor Unplug it and using a separate car battery run cables directly to the window motor When you switch the polarity the motor will either bring the window up or down or if noting happened change the window motor and window regulator assembly.

9 times out of 10 when windows won't roll up or down it is the switch. It is probably just dirty or broke. pop it out of there open it up and check it out. Don't be afraid to do it yourself. if it isn't your switch than try replacing motor/regulator. I am pretty sure it is easiest to get them together. just be careful not to bend the regulator arms!!!!!!

Sounds Like you need a window regulator! Can you still hear the motor running?

Check the wiring inside the rubber flex boots between the van and doors. I had wires corrode and brake inside them.
