I have a 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse. I need to put the code in my eclipse to get the radio to work and do not know what it is or how to do it.
Please help
Radio lock out codes are security related, and each code is unique to the car and the radio in that car, and that unique code was supplied with the original paper work when the car was delivered to the original owner to discourage theft, so they are not published on the internet, if they were what would be the point?? any thief could get the code after stealing your radio. Contact the dealer for instructions and what info u need to get your cars unique radio code. The dealer will require the serial number off the radio and proof of ownership of the car it came from.Radio lock out codes are security related, and each code is unique to the car and the radio in that car, and that unique code was supplied with the original paper work when the car was delivered to the original owner to discourage theft, so they are not published on the internet, if they were what would be the point?? any thief could get the code after stealing your radio. NO- every radio has it's own unique code to prevent theft. serial numbers will allow you to get a code from the net or take the car to a dealer and see if the code has been recorded
Google it. You should be able to find the code for it on Google. Type this: 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse Radio Codes and hit ENTER. Do not click on the buttons under the seach bar - this will provide better results.
Please let me know if you need further assistance.
that radio may plug in but the code gonna be a infinity code the mitsubishi wont accept you need a sony ,jvc ,keenwood or other i have an original radio for the eclipse if you want it and the cd player if your isnt working
Put the key in the ignition and set it to "accessory" setting and leave it there for about 45 minutes. After that remove the key and put it back in and you should be able to enter the code again.
Hi there,
Had a few problems with my car and removed the battery. So I too needed the code. By using the numbers you assign to each radio station is how I entered the code then just hit am/fm. The code I used for my 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse is 1571. Good Luck,
