Take the car to Autozone or similar business that offers free scanning of the car's computer. If the computer has no problem codes, then the scanner can turn off the light. If the computer has recognized trouble, then it must be corrected to keep the light turned off. Good luck!

The Service engine soon warning light
it may have nothing to do with it or it might, you will have to let them scan it and see what code pops up and then go from there. maybe something got lefy off or got knocked off during the tune-up.hope this helps.

Service engine soon light on a 1996 Ford taurus. I just had the brake line replaced 2 weeks ago because it had completely rusted out
when this light comes on it has nothing to do with the brakes it is an engine diagnostic faluire you must use an odb2 reader to read the codes see what the problem is and or reset the light! good luck!

The service engine soon light came on i got it checked out and it flashed a stuck selniod code
This would mean you need to replace that solenoid. When you do be sure to disconnect the Neg battery cable for 10 minutes to clear the code. After you replace the part everything should work.
