Bleed the hydraulic system. Check the hydraulic lines, it could be swelling, Did you change the pilot bearing as well? If it was removed and not replaced, there will be a hard vibration.

No pressure on peddle

few things could be wrong, master cylinder (mounted on firewall) could be dead might be slave (gearbox) check both, get someone to push clutch while looking at the fluid in the master if it drops it's still good. do same gain and watch the slave if it extends and moves the lever it's still good, last one should mean your thrust bearing is rooted and needs replacing, drop the gearbox and replace the bearing. hope this helped

2003 Mazda 6 TS2 Sometimes when I accelerate from a stopped position my car will really shudder and ****. This does not happen all the time and it is usually just while I am accelerating in 1st gear. ...

Yes you need to replace the clutch, pressure plate and the throw out bearing and take the fly wheel and have it resurfaced it has burnt spots in it and that is your shudder.

My 2001 Subaru Forester is about to undergo it's 3rd clutch transplant. First at 60,000kms, second at 130,000kms. We now have 170,000kms and we appear to be going down the same road. Smell of burning...

On your next clutch replacement make sure you take the flywheel off and get it machined flat, install a new pressure plate and friction disk and replace the throwout bearing also...Don't be cheap and try to get by with just a friction disk...do it right and it will work for a long time. and take your foot off the clutch peddle when driving!

Car shudders when taking off

If this is a standard transmission, I would bet money that what you are experiencing is clutch chatter. The clutch may still seem to be working ok, but it will definitely get worse. if you have an automatic transmission, please clarify. The shudder comes from ignition malfunctions. Replace the spark plugs and plug wires.
Check coolant level for the white smoke concern.

Clutch going out

Clutch problems are common with the Mazda 6...usually a shudder starts then slippage occurs. Many owners have had theirs replaced under warranty. Recommend you get an aftermarket complete clutch kit, when you replace it...the OEM clutch is not dependable.
Good luck...i hope this helps.
