you have to go to a mitsubishi dealer in your area, report your problem, supply in VIN number, and the dealer will call the appropriate people to get your radio code. They should have your code within a week and it will cost anywhere from $25-$45 to get the code. I know....sounds silly to have to pay for your own code, but thats just how it works. Happened to me. I removed my battery for more than a certain amount of time and it resets all radio functions, code necessary to power back on.
Most of these cars have a theft protection on them so when you disconnected the battery its possible that it triped the theft protection . and if so there is a code to reset the radio, this code is usually in you owners manual and if not you will have to go to a dealer to have it done. Hope this helps you.
that radio may plug in but the code gonna be a infinity code the mitsubishi wont accept you need a sony ,jvc ,keenwood or other i have an original radio for the eclipse if you want it and the cd player if your isnt working
With my mitsubishi eclipse there was a little red card with a security code on it and i kept it in with the owners manual and everything, but if you don't have one of those call the dealership...
