What kind of Transmission fluid does a Nissan, Sentra GXE 1.8 liter engine use?

Sounds like you need a transmission doctor if the fluid levels are up to par.

It could be that your transmission is beginning to break if the car has high miles

follow lower radiator hose to engine block....behind that housing.2 ten mm bolts?hope this helps!

it is wher the engine meets the transmission..on the flywheel...and the oxygen sensors bank 1 is the one before the catalyst....and bank 2 is the one after the catalyst....

Every 10,000 miles partial service; change engine oil and filter, air and fuel filter's, spark plug's and check brakes fluid pipes and pad's. Every 50,000 full service. partial service plus change cambelt, check gear diff and power steering oils. Owners manual or any mechanic will let you know oil grades etc.

a drain and fill is about 3.5 litres.if you pump it out completely including the torque converter,about 10 litres

if this car has an automatic transmission, i would verify the fluid is full and clean. if manual trans, clutch? the fuel filter in this car may be in the fuel tank and is not serviceable. otherwise could be located near air filter housing or firewall. is the service engine lite on?? if so, that should indicate a direction to go.
