The universal harness with four wires assumes that the brake lights and turn signals use the same bulbs. If your Blazer has separate bulbs for rear turn signals and brake lights, this 'universal' harness will not work unless you buy a separate adapter to merge the power to the brake lamps and turn signals for the trailer.
No. Unfortunately you have to remove the whole headlight assembly. There are two long screws holding it in. You access them from under the hood. Once they are removed you will be able to get the headlight assembly out and be able to get to the turn signal bulb.
The element are serpent in the lights bulb the turn signal and brake usually share the same one but the running or park light are not shared with the turn . so if none of the light for the turn signal light then you will want to look for your flasher control it is ether in or near the fuse box or under dash by steering wheel shaft,,you should also check grounds at light socket if we can be of any further assistance please feel free to ask hope this gives you a place to start .Thank You..
The way the system works is:
The fuse supplies 12 volts to the flasher unit then leaves the flasher and goes to the turn-signal switch in the steering column.
When you set the turn-signal switch to turn right or left, the switch sends that 12 volts to the front and rear bulbs. The voltage goes through the bulb, lighting the bulb and goes to ground.
If any of these components are not good than the lights will not work.
Check the fuse and make sure it is good, the fuse will be located under the hood at the fuse center.
Let me know if you have a test light and we can proceed from there.
Regards,
The Turn signal relay on a 94 s10 blazer is located under the cluster area right behind the panel that holds the parking brake release handle you will see it once a couple of trim panels get remove it will be to the right side of the brake release handle
