What weight of engine oil do i use in 2001 ford taurus v6

The firing order of a 2001 Ford Taurus with a 3.0L V6 OHV engine is 1, 4, 2, 5, 3, 6. Here is a Jpeg picture for you hope this helps.

On most engines it is on the driver side of the block under the master cylinder.

This is a major repair, you should have experience and very specific tools to achieve this, I would get a mechanic for this one

5w20 weight oil is the recommended.

For 1994 Ford Taurus 3.0L EFI 6cyl the Engine Oil Type and Weight is:

4.5

Application:
Oil for use in all temperature ranges

Quarts with filter change
VV174

Application:
Oil for use in all temperature ranges

Valvoline Premium Conventional 5W-20 Motor Oil

on OHV engine,at rear of engine block,just ahead of transaxle
on OHC on forward side above oil filter.

unfortunately if you ran it out of oil while driving it and it stalled it's probably seized and you are in need of a rebuild or a new engine.....sorry for the bad news :(......six
