Its the same. but a different pulley takes place of the a/c compressor. I know DORMAN makes a few "bypass pulleys" to do this, but dont know if they make one for your truck. at the worst... you will need to get a pulley and bracket from the dealer for a truck without a/c . as long as your a/c pulley bearing is ok, you can let the belt run there.
I don't think you can bypass it unless you buy a bracket to replace the compressor they cost around $60 your best bet it buy a new or used compressor you can find a used one on ebay.com for under $100
