Suspect the left temp actuator failed internally.

Heating, AC and vent problem

The actuator door that is behind the dash that closes off the heater core from shooting hot air thru the vents might be your problem. When you turn on your ac the actuator shuts the door to prevent the air from flowing thru the heater core into the cabin, this may be your problem if everything else is working properly. Let us know.

No Heat Passenger Side. I have a 1999 Cadillac Deville. The problem is I can't get heat on the passenger side. Air blows but it is cold. I do have heat on the driver?s side. My car has the spate...

Hello: You have a failed temperature control actuator for the passenger air mix door. Remove the glove box and the close out panel under the dash on the passenger side. You will see two silver rods going from the actuators (mounted on the top and bottom of the heater/a/c programmer) Turn key on (engine off) Turn the a/c heater control on. Go from 60 to 90 or 90 to 60 and watch the rods the one that doesn't move is the failed one. The actuator is held in place by two 7mm screws and one electrical connector. When installing the new actuator have the temp set at 60 when you hook up the linkage. The passenger side set at full cold.

2001 lexus gs300 ,heat comes out drivers side vents only. passenger side cold air only, car has dual controls but acts like heat flapper not opening

your blend door on your passenger side is most likely stuck in the cold position. Chances are you cable is broken. Good luck.

The problem is in the ducting, possibly disconnected on the passenger side or a dampner is stuck.
