SOURCE: porsche key fob

If the key had gone faulty, the key code must be re programmed on the vehicle computer. This can be done only using a PIWIS tool, available at the dealer or at a qualified Porche garage.
Try also the following reset:
turn ignition on,
turn off.
remove the transponder from the column
push any button on the fob within 6 seconds.
This procedure will reset the key synchronizing again with the vehicle computer.

SOURCE: can not lock car by key remote . toyota rav 4 53 plate

If your car has an alarm with a separate remote, it is a separate system and it is probably self-arming. When you lock the doors with the key central lock, the alarm gets armed by the RAV4 being OFF and the door locking action. When you unlock the doors with the key, the alarm is still armed because the key is not comunicating with the alarm just the cars factory keyless system.

2001 Dodge Viper RT/10 Roadster.. Dead battery doors locked.

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to 'year make model' category.

Get under the front of the vehicle and put charger leads on the big red starter connector bolt (positive connection) and the negative on a clean piece of bodywork. Wait 10 minutes and use the fob as there will be enough power in the battery. Open the hood and fully charge the battery. Then find out WHY the battery was flat. If due to storage, keep it on a battery Maintainer / Minder.

Wipers stopped working & central locking system stopped working on my 2003 range rover

The alarm and the central locking are all part of the remote keying system. You will not fix it with changing fuses because it is likely the ECU needs to be be reset. Unfortunately, it will require a visit to an authorised workshop to do this

Remote will not open doors seems battery is dead . Car has been in garage for 2 months

There should be a manual over ride key, this is normally within your key fob, it may be a small metal silver edge that you have to push out from the key fob. is the model early or late 2003?

730d sport 04. I lock the car with remote key, but when i try the doors the car opens.. no alarm nothing..

When you press lock you should hear central locking click.
If you don.t the remote battery is flat. You can not change battery,it charges in ignition as you drive.Have you got a second key to try.
If not use manual key located in remote key{check ln owners manual}to lock car. Also using this key will confirm central locking is ok.
good luck barry.
