Zero you must check the starter connections for corrosion and clean them also on the front of the case there's a braided ground cable that grounds both the case and solenoid if it's broken then there's no ground and all you will get is nothing or just 1 clank when you turn the key also check the fuses for the whole system and the power distribution box cable and lug and clean them up and make the blades fig tight into there spaces and try to check the relays to

Nothing, if the battery is new you may have a bad starter.
Check ground wire from starter to where it's bolted to the frame; if you see corrosion remove cable and clean with a wire brush. Reset cable see if engine cranks. While you're at it, do the same thing to your battery ground cable. Good luck.

Sounds like your starter solenoid is stuck in the on position if you can get down there and have some one hook the battery on, hit the starter with a hammer some time this will disengage the starter.
