I have a 1998 Buick Century in great condition, is kept up well and runs great, only problem is that the "low" function on heat or air does not work anymore, which is frustrating because its the only one I use rather winter or summer, I have switched the entire control board but "low" still doesnt work, what is my next step?

Is it HOT or just not as cold. If its HOT, like heated air, there is a door problem, if its just not cool, the a/c refridgerent is low and will need a recharge, most likely the comp is leaking.

Im assuming its an inside issue not the actual control knobs

My 98 Buick Park Avenue has driver and passenger AC settings but the passenger side always blows hot air. Very cold on drivers side. Why??Can't stand the heat even when vent is closed.

Try unplugging the battery for 5 min's to re-sync the dual climate controls. If that fails it is likely that the air temperature control blend door is sticking to in the heated air position, this is either due to the door being warped and sticking inside the duct work or the electric actuator for the door being defective, both are usually replaced.

Passenger side air is cold coming out of dash but the drivers side air is not cold. I need a solution to the problem?

if this has dual climate controls then the drivers side blend door actuator is not working properly. if it is only single climate control then a low freon level can cause the air on the driver's side to be warmer.

98 buick century AC blows cold air on passenger side and hot air on drivers side..when we recharged the unit, it worked cold air for a few days and now blowing hot air again.

Hi. There seems to be a blockage within the system. I will list all parts to be checked by your mechanical. I would also have the blend door linkages or servos inspected for fail points along with the listed areas of concern, below:

Loose or broken drive belt
Inoperative compressor or slipping compressor clutch
Defective expansion valve
Clogged expansion valve, receiver-drier or liquid refrigerant line
Blown fuse
Leaking component: any of the parts listed above or one of the A/C lines, hoses or seals.

Instruct your mechanic to check all the above, along with the dash blend door linkages for faults.

My AC blows hot air out the driver's side and cold

My 02 Century has dual temp controls . One for driver for passenger. Make sure you don't have the dual climate enabled and just set for heat on your side and AC on the passengers

1995 Lesabre blows hot on drivers side, cold on passenger side

THIS IS A GUESS. Both sides probabley have "mix" dampers that regulate temp by mixing hot and cold air to make you comfortable. Passenger side must not work properly, stepper motor? Dirty actuator? Temp sensor on passenger not working? Don't honestly know but I'm not sure a do it yourselfer could figure it out. Sounds complicated.
