The instrument voltage regulator is usually found behind the instruments, often attached to the printed circuit.
The charging or alternator regulator would usually be found inside the alternator on most vehicles by 1994. Japanese vehicles used a discrete electro-mechanical regulator longer than most types and some commercial vehicles used a discrete electronic regulator longer than passenger vehicles.

On most, engine should be lifted a bit to get better clearance. when doing that, make sure you don't lift it too high or it will break stuff on top. Best way is to disconnect engine mounts and put blocks between mounts and block or use a lift bar to keep motor in place.

Probably dosen't have one. Most GM just use air doors to control temp. What is the problem?
SOURCE: Timing
Hello Jerry.
The base timing is preset when the engine is made, the position sensors are not movable, so no
adjustment is possible. Timing advance and ****** are adjusted
through the power train control module (PCM) with ignition control module.
Because the timing changes all the time from various inputs it wouldn't be an accurate reading.
