The best, and in fact the only recommended solution is to use a plug-in dedicated wiring kit for this car, it plugs into a grey connector on the chassis on the rear of the left hand side. this is the connector that the cars rear light loom is plugged into and the towbar loom piggybacks onto this using the same watertight sealed connectors. There is a trailer indicator warning light already built into the dash display so no need for any other monitoring of the trailer functions. This wiring kit should cost you around £40-£50 and will only take around 10mins to fit. The other alternative is to solder the towbar wires to the cars loom, but this is time consuming and may invalidate the vehicles warranty.

If your original harness is still hanging out of the dashboard I would just opt for the $15 aftermarket cord. Then it's just pretty much color code wires together

A/t Cont fuse Nissan Navara keeps blowing

Fuses only blow if the load is heavier than it is designed for. Most likely causes are, Shorted wire. Defective part To small fuse. If you have the correct fuse then somewhere in the wiring circuit is asking for too much. You need a good electrical tech to find out your cause. If it blows the fuse once a month then this can be a pain in the rear to find the cause. Most wiring is made very durable. Look for damaged areas, or where work has been performed in the past and wiring has been disturbed and not properly secured. Look for alterations, Hope that helps.
