SOURCE: 2004 GMC Sierra High Oil Pressure

if it is electrical oil pressure sensor I would start there. The best way to see if you have a major problem is to use a mechanical oil pressure tester. Take off the oil pressure sensor and put the mechanical tester on. The tester should come with a Gage. If it comes within your trucks oil pressure range than all is fine and replace the sending unit and see if that don't help your problem. If the tester runs high then the oil pump is bad or your cam-bearings could be the problem. But with cam-bearings you would usually get a low reading.

1996 Jeep grand cherokee 5.2l no start

There could be several potential causes for this issue with your 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee. One possibility is a problem with the oil pump or pressure sensor, which could explain both the low oil pressure readings and the difficulty starting the vehicle after driving. Another possibility could be an issue with the fuel injection system, such as a clogged fuel filter or a faulty fuel pressure regulator. It is also possible that there could be an issue with the ignition system, such as a faulty spark plug or ignition coil. I recommend having a mechanic diagnose the problem in order to determine the root cause and the necessary repairs.

Why won't it start?

So do you know for a fact you don't have spark when it fails to start ? ?
And do you know for sure that the injector has power and a ground signal ?
Will it try to start if you spray cleaner into the throttle body even with normal fuel pressure ?
Since you have a distributor, you have an ign control module, but you also have a pickup coil which may be in the bottom of the dist.
Could be a problem with one of the connectors too.

Citroen Relay clutch pedal with no pressure stuck to floor position, any help?

Always have the master and slave replaced at the same time the clutch is replaced. Most clutch kits come with a slave. If you see no oil leaks, replace the master. Sometimes a seal or line blows out. Check for oil leaks inside the cabin also.

Change oil pump

What you really want to do is have a technician remove the oil sending unit and attach a pressure gauge of known reliability. Only then can you know if your pressure is good or bad.

If you have to change an oil pump, you can have problems reaching it. You may be able to find a Video or text online for your exact model. The Capri series covers a lot of Years and the engines may be different and one year may be a front wheel drive while an older one may be rear wheel drive.

One of the biggest problem is having clearance to remove the oil pan. Sometimes in the closest clearances turning the crankshaft can help make room to drop the oil pan.

Front wheel drive units can have a cradle which blocks pan removal. You need to find out the requirements for your exact year.

The pressure test will help diagnose other problems. Bad bearings can leak so much oil that pressure will behave exactly like you describe.

1992 chevy lumina euro 3.1 while driving the engine acts like it is going to die then it regains power and then repeats the sluggish, lack of fuel .

check fuel pressure most likely bad fuel pump. also check your oil sending unit or gauge. chevys run the fuel relay to the oil pressure switch in case the oil is so low the car wont start. sometimes the relay in between this circuit goes bad as well. if all is well check or replace the ignition module (located directly under coils) or distributor integrated if it has a distributor
