2003 Dodge Ram Van 1500 *** NO HEAT **

I just discovered the other day when I turned my temp dial up to warm I am not getting warm air, the blower is working fine, the AC is OK, just no hot air. Anybody have any ideas where I should start to determine what the problem is??

Do you have enough antifeeze in your cooling system. If not fill & check again for heat. You may have a blockage. If so remove the in & out hoses to the heater core on firewall. Be careful not to damage core. Use a garden hose to flush the core one side to the other untill running clear water. put one hose on tight & clamp, put other on loose. Have someone start engine & slowly remove loose hose to let air escape. when fluid appears put hose on & tighten. Refill rad & resevoir. Heat engine up & check for heat. Also heat cable may be off under dash.

Check the radiator fluid level, if that is good you will need to check the actuator on one of the two radiator lines that run back to the firewall. See if you can move this manually to open and close the valve lever. If you can then you either have a stuck cable in the temp control or faulty vacum switch or poor vacum leading to the control valve.

2003 dodge ram 1500......no heat

Does your heater motor run when you turn speed dial ? Have you checked the two hoses that run from the engine compartment to the heater core ? When car is at operating temperature, carefully touch both hoses which should be warm or hot. If only one if hot, then you may have a bad actuator. If both are hot, you may have a clogged heater core or none functioning heater motor. or resister.

If motor is not working, check fuses, if good, then check for power at the switch and then at the heater motor.

I have a 2004 Dodge ram 1500 5.7. Luke warm heat

are you talking about your heater core for heat in the truck ? is there a valve in the heater hose that you have to open to get the hoses hot to the core this is under the hood , follow the hoses , could be clogged core , does it over heat , or get up to temp should be about 190 normal temp for most motors why did you change these parts anyhow , did you use the radiator fix bars leak stuff that you put in , bars leak , if so you may have clogged your core , take the hoses off the core and blow it out ,pain in the but you went this far , ck for that valve to open

Heater in 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 blow cold air out of vents on driver side and warm air on passenger side when turned to heat. What could be possible cause?

Not sure about your dodge, but on hondas there is a lever under the driver side vent to allow fresh(outside air) when its cold out, it will be cold, even with the heat on inside, so check to see if your has that lever somewhere on that side...hope that helps
