Get a mechanic to have a look ,water level low hence the heater is cold and ac taking a long time to cool because the fan isnt starting up when ac is turned on ,Sounds like your fan is playing up and you may have cooked the head gasket??

You need to check for a loose ground again. The dash seems to have a loose ground. Your heat and ac are controlled by motors that get input from your switch. You might try following that harness and see if there is a loose ground. Other than that I don't have a clue. You might also check near the firewall and make sure the ground strap there was bolted to the engine.
a refurbished compressor should be fine and will be cheaper than new, your should also replace the orfice tube (expansion), and the dryer, and the seals at the connection points.
this is caused by the fuel pump pressure check valve, when this valve fails the gas drains out of the lines and filter and back to the fuel tank, then when u start the pump has to pump the fuel through the lines and filter and then the air has to be purged out of the system by the injectors, this all takes time, result long crank times and numerous start stall. The pressure check valve is part of the fuel pump, the pump is in the fuel tank.
