Should be mounted on the transmission. Go to PEPBoys or CHECKER or other parts store and look at the replacement part. Then you should be able to recognize it under the hood.

The speed sensor module is AKA "throttle control unit" on the throttle body. This is what controls your accelerator. Your vehicle does not have throttle linkage or a throttle cable if it is equipped with one of these.
The speed sensor is located on top of the transmission Just under the Air Filter. So you will have to remove the Air Filter and you will see your two main sensors (I/O sensors.) .For more detail----------- If you remove the air filter and look down on top of the transaxel, you'll see a couple of connectors that lead to sensors that are inserted into the transaxel. The Output Speed Sensor is the one towards the rear of the car, towards the driver.
