I have a 2001 saturn sc1...i was driving stopped filled gas. and when i went to start again, i got a clicking noise...i tried getting a boost...but battery is fine...radio works everything is good...i replaced the starter, did everything right and found it was defective...then i tried another one...a brand new one..and its the same problem...click lick lcik...PLease help...everything is connected right i trpple check...thanks

When filling the tank, stop filling when the pump clicks off. It sounds like you are overfilling the tank getting gas onto the built in evaporator.

check for a lose wire in the fuse box or a bad conection

the car as a wire connected to the chassis and he is descharging the battery. you have to go to a car electrician and look wall the cables to see where he is not isolated.

I'd change fuel filter, get it low on fuel. Add a bottle of rite aid 100% rubbing alcohol. Nothing fancy. Nothing scented or colored.

Add it and fill up your tank of gas.

I've done this with old cars and trucks.

Most recent was my 77 for highboy. Emmissions guy said it's emmissions were lower then most cars he saw! Let alone and old crappy ford.

If it were my car I'd drive it hard the whole way there. This may or maynot break loose carbon buildup in your cats, which will also help. By drive hard I mean higher Rpm then usuall. Don't race it, or drive dangerous. Just trying to get *** much pressure buildup in the exhaust to knock some of that **** out of there.

Alot of the time the anti theft security can actually disable your starter. Check to see if there is a light on the dash that says SECURITY or a little picture of a car with a lock thru it. This would be a dead give away of the security problem. Check out this link for info and DO IT YOURSELF solutions to this problem.

sounds like either you have 2 of the wires crossed.........one is loose....probably #1 or your #1 plug needs regapped or is not tight and losing seal....all will cause a misfire and set the check engine light

1999 Saturn SC1 wont start. Was able to in neutral, but not now. I did change the neutral safety switch, was not the problem. Any idea's?

There's a relay that's under the dash. keep turning the key until you find what's clicking then replace that relay, the car should start.

sound like its flooding .you got fuel injectors leaking.
