I have a 93 Lincoln Towncar, and i noticed a leak from under the car.i traced it back to a hose under the intake.i beleive the hose is connected to a metal hose under the intake.i also believe the hose connects to the heater core.the question i have ,is how do i remove the hose to replace it?
Do a little research on the hose first. Some are preformed and they resist kinking better than a straight universal hose that may be harder to bend into place.
If you do this repair with the engine cold it will save you some antifreeze. There will still be leakage but less than on a warm engine. After you have the new part, cut off the old hose and it will be easier to remove the hose clamps.
Hopefully the original spring clamp will be on the hose ends. Do not use the screw type clamp as they always have uneven pressure. Slip off the hose clamp by squeezing the tabs and once removed slit the old hose to keep from being rough on the metal parts that you must remove the hose from.
Sometimes a little water to lube the new hose will help the new hose slip over the metal fixtures.
Hope this helps.

SOURCE: how to replace a 1991 Lincoln Towncar heater core?
wow. just did this one today. all i can say is have patience. you just have to take the dash completly apart top to bottom. you have to lower your steering colume to. you dont have to take the dash out of the car when you get it off enough on the passanger side just tie it up to the handle at the roof and you got access to the black box on the passanger side. you have to go under the hood and remove two bolts and two hoses to release the black box so you can get the heater core out. you also dont want to forget to disconnect the battery and drain your radiator. I watched my husban do this and i dont know how else to explain this or give better detail i hope i helped.

SOURCE: How to replace heater core
If it is necessary to remove the heater assembly, the cooling system must be drained before removing the heater core.
When a heater core leaks, a new heater core is installed or the old one repaired.
Heater Housing
The heater housing is disassembled to get to the heater core.
Heater Core
When the heater core leaks and must be repaired or replaced, it is a
very difficult and time-consuming job primarily because of the core's
location deep within the firewall of the car. For this reason always
leak test a replacement heater core before installation.
