Most likely two issues. For the dome light, check door switches and connectors. Spray with silicone when you take them apart.

For lighter, trace backward from lighter. The plug could well have come off at the socket.

SOURCE: inatallation 92 honda accord power steering pump

Hey, here's the procedure, disable air bag, if equipped w/ one, disconnect the pump return hose from the reservoir and place the end in a large container. Plug the port in the reservoir. Start the engine and turn the steering wheel lock to lock several times, until fluid stops running from the hose. Turn off engine immediately. Re-attach hose. Disconnect the inlet and outlet hoses at the pump. Remove the drive belt. Remove the mounting bolts/nuts and remove pump.
Install in reverse order. Adjust belt tension, fill ps reservoir and bleed any air from the system (to bleed air from system, fill reservoir, start engine and allow to idle, turn wheel from side to side all the way several times. Shut off, fill if necessary.
. Tighten bolts to : Thru bolt 30 ft lbs., mounting nut 16 ft lbs.

SOURCE: 1991 Honda Accord brake light probelm.

Check the prones inside the connector that you plug into the brake light module. You may have to squeeze, wiggle, tilt each one to see which one is not connecting all that good. I know it may sound confusing. I tried to explain the best of I could.

Hi there I have an 04 Honda Accord 2.2i ctdi sport and I was installing projector lights into the door courtesy lights now the courtesy lights on the drivers side aren't working.

Could be a bad light switch in the driver's door. You can check and see if you have power on the driver's door with a tester before you purchase a new switch.

My dome light in my 86 accord won't work and

Check your fuse box, it might be that simple. It should be located in the engine compartment (under the hood). When you find the fuse box, there should be a map of each fuse there and what each fuse powers. If one of the fuses is burned out, you should be able to replace it (make sure you use the same rated fuse -- a 20Amp for a 20Amp, or a 5Amp for a 5Amp -- usually they are color coded) and that should solve the problem. Japanese cars USUALLY have all of the fuses under the hood, but there is a chance that there might be a fuse box (or second fuse box) in the glove compartment, or under the dashboard.
If the fuse is not the problem, there might be a short circuit between the fuse box and the broken components. Bad wiring is much less likely, and much harder to fix, so if it is worth it for you to get it fixed, I recommend visiting a professional mechanic. If you don't want to invest that much money to repairing the issue, but need the Cig lighter to power a cell phone charger or GPS, you can run a bypass wire from the fuse box straight to the cig lighter. This will give you back your lighter, but will not solve the problem, which could indicate something more important, so it would be good to have a professional mechanic check it out when you have the time and money.

My son's 1997 Honda Accord has an aftermarket stereo that works but his cigarette lighter doesn't. Could it be a fuse?

The thing is, whoever hooked up the stereo would know for sure where the connected into in order to get power to the stereo. If they went off somewhere ealse other than what the factory made to be the power for the stereo it would make sense. In the accord for your year the power to the stereo and the cigarette lighter is the same fuse if it was hooked to the same wiring that came with the vehicle. They may have by accident disconnected the lighter and it's just not hooked up at all. You can check the fuse for the cigarette lighter if you would like. that fuse is in the fuse panel located in the engine compartment and will be in the number 18 position and sould be a 15 amp fuse ( see diagram of the layout of fuses below). If that fuse is bad and corrects the problem then they hooked up to another power source when they hooked up the stereo. I hope this helps you and good luck.

My cigarette lighter socket is no longer working I've check fuses they are all good. None are blown

It's fuse No. 9 15a under the left side of the
dash. If good, like you said, it might be the
lighter itself or a loose wire at the back of
the socket.

Just got a 92 Honda Accord and turn signals do not work at all. However, when I turn on the hazards, the left side only blinks. Any ideas?

A few. First, check the condition of the bulbs, sounds stupid, but it's a first start. Basics first, all else later. After a bulb check, go to fuses. From there, use a digital multi meter and backprobe the bulb sockets to see if you're getting good power/ground at the bulb sockets. If none, back probe further up the wiring. Check all ground connections. If still no power but you have a good ground, go to the combination switch and check output/position on the combination switch. (aka, the "self cancelling trafficator", or turn signal switch) If you're there and havn't found the issue yet, start over. Start at the bulb, head to the switch. If you check everything in between, you'll find it.
