SOURCE: my 2004 cadillac cts says service anti theft

you have a low voltage problem. either a bad battery or a brake in a wire somewhere. My sister had the same problem in her car. Had it to the gm dealer 3 times they couldnt figure it out. I put a new battery in, new wire from batter to starter, and a new altenater and wires to it. just by dumb luck i noticed the (+) wire from the bat to the fuse box under the hood was broke at the fuse box. Put new wire on it and 2.5 years later no problems.

SOURCE: HOW DO I TURN OFF ANTI-THEFT LIGHT ON MY 2004 CADILLAC CTS 3.6L???

You will need to go and get your KEY SYNC'd to your Car's Immobilizer... Try using your other Key and see if that one works. IF neither one does... Then you may have lost the code or your Immobilizer went bad.

SOURCE: how to reset an anti theft system on a Cadillac cts

Bypass the starter relay and crank while the key is in the on position. This is to force the ecu to communicate. After doing that and making sure the check engine is on you can do the 30 minute key program procedure. Make sure the battery always stays above 12 volts

SOURCE: I have a 2007 cadillac cts and the check antI theft system light is on car will start no gages working key will not come out. What could be causing this problem.

The key stuck in the ignition is either a bad lock cylinder or more than likely a bad ECM. I have the same problem but replaced the lock cylinder and new key, that changed nothing. If your Anti Theft light is on and traction control, no gas gauge nor temp gauge, ECM. More and more will quit working or go crazy in time until there is no power anywhere

Where is the ground wire for the daytime running lights?

It the other light in the cluster work, then the grounds are fine. Grounds are normally next to the light cluster screwed to a bracket on the chassis.

Fuse 35 covers them, but also covers other important things like the electric power steering. DRL are also a function of the Body Control Module. You need an Auto Electrician with a pro grade scan tool computer.
35 (ECU-IG) Daytime running light system, anti-lock brake system, electric power steering system, power windows, door lock system, theft deterrent system, electric cooling fan

I have 2004 cts cadilac it will crank but wont start what can i do to solve the problem

check for spark at the plugs then check for fuel supply like fuel pressure with a gage. then make sure that the anti-theft system is not activated which would be the first thing to check.
