It does not have an ignition control module. The PCM (powertrain control module) fires the coil pack based on signal it recieves from the crankshaft position sensor and the camshaft position sensor.

The connector is about 5 or 6 inches long and 1 inch wide. It is located in the firewall under the hood on the driver's side.

Where is the ecm located on a 92 Plymouth acclaim

NO ECM (engine control module). The skamatic does show PCM powertrain control module. Look under the hood, near the back of the motor. On the frame rail or the fire wall. Power Distribition center (PDC) should be ther as well.

The heat don't work in my 91 plymouth acclaim

I could be that there is no antifreeze in the radiator, that the thermostat is bad, or that the heater core is bad. try checking the antifreeze first. sometimes the thermostats in those cars get stuck open due to corrosion on the thermostat housing.

I have no spark for 91 grand am. ignition control module or ignition coil?

You have 3 coils located on top of the ignition module with 2 spark plug wires to each. Usually on that vehicle only one coil dies at once. But if you have no spark at all the ignition module would be the usual problem. There are a couple other unlikely things that can also cause this problem but it will require a repair shop to diagnosis them.

1992 Plymouth Acclaim While driving up the road

when you say coil, do you mean the ignition coil or the pick up coil (aka pickup module)? It is located under the rotor in the distributor-if you replaced the distributor (did you really?) it should have had a new unit in it, the only other thing I could guess is you have some sort of issue with a fuse or relay for the ignition.

In hot weather my 91 plymouth Acclaim bogs out

it is your computer. the ecm is the electronic control module which is the brain of your car and sometimes when the ecm shuts down so does everything thing else on the car too. you can go and buy a rebuilt ecm and make sure that they FLASH it because it wont work if they dont. it is less than $200
