Is it the 4 cylinder motor are you sure its not the waterpump leaking out weap hole ? .It might be one of those sizes that they make the rubber expansion screw tight freeze plugs for if so you knock the old freeze plug out with a hammer and 3/8" extension bar try to flip one side in carefully that causes the other side of the freeze plug to swing out where you can get hold of it with something to yank it out . If its winter and looks like it is going to take hours leave freeze plug IN and you can see of feel the freeze plug " you may be able to drain the radiator first then sandpaper the hole in the freeze plug (where it leaks at) okay go to auto zoan buy a pack of J&B weld (12 hour epoxy) after cleaning the sanded area dry it with lacquer thinner or acetone (nail polish remover) to dry the antifreeze from surface dry mix the J&B weld in two halves (about 2 tablespoons ) on a plastic mix it good ! if its rel cold freezing or below heat it just before smearing it onto the hole (leak ) you may cut a small disc(cardboard) the size of the inside of freeze plug put the mixed J&B onto the disc and smash it down onto the hole area " if you do this right it should be 1/8" or more 3/16" at the hole spot (you sanded) wait for it to dry (harden)all night or a day after words you can refill the radiator with coolant and get it full then you should be good for anywhere from 3 months to 3 years depending on how well you applied the method and other factors (not mentioned ) hope this helps someone of course if you can uses a hammer and socket to drive the original type plug in then do that put some sealer on the hole as you pound it in there you have 3 choices

SOURCE: 1997 BMW 528i The passenger side front and rear doors won't

I had the same problem on the rear door of my 1998 528i and it was the door actuator that had gone bad. I had to take the rear seat out to get the door panel off. Once I had the door panel off it was not that difficult to replace the door actuator.

SOURCE: 02 ram passenger side window wont go up .

The switch is bad...Well does it do it from both switches, or just one? If one switch then replace that switch, but if it does that from both switches...Your window regulator is sticking or binding on something...

How do you change freeze plug on rear side of engine of 99 Mitsubishi Eclipse 2.0 non turbo

Never have changed or seen a rear freeze plug go bad. I would keep checking. You have to remove the transmission to replace one of those. Use a mirror and look for water trails.

How many freeze plugs are on a 2000 blazer 4.3 vortec

The freeze plugs are spaced out in a straight line along each side of the block. If you see others at the same height in front or behind where the motor mount is, then yes it probably is a freeze plug.

Put a jack under the engine with a block of wood between the oil pan and the jack head. Raise it slightly to remove the motor mount through bolt, then remove the mount from the engine block. Now you should be able to replace the plug. Use a punch to drive in one side, then grip with pliers and pull it out. Clean the recess before installing new plug. Auto stores stock them in all dimensions, or take your old one in for matching up. The rubber expansion plugs work well, too, and easier to install.

1992 chev s10 , 2.8 v6 , leaking freeze plug

If the welsh plug is in a position where by removing several items ( manifold --engine mount etc and you can get enough space to swing a hammer to install the new plug. then it can be done with difficulty. If the plug faces the fire wall then unfortunately the motor has to be pulled . The only advantage is that it is just not the one plug because if one is rusted out the rest will not be far behind so it is an opportunity to do the lot.. IT is a good reason to always ensure that the coolant conditioner is always changed regularly and kept up to percentage required.

How do I change the engine radiator fan motors on my 2001 Buick Century?

  • Remove the passenger side kick panel using a Phillips head screwdriver. Pull the rug back from under the blower motor to allow enough room to drop the blower motor without the rug interfering.

  • 2

Disconnect the electrical plug from the blower motor. Pull the rubber vent hose out of the blower motor.

  • 3

Remove all the Phillips head screws securing the blower motor to the housing. Drop the blower motor straight down.

  • 4

Install the new motor in reverse order of removal

Is there freezeout plugs between motor and trans?

Hello: The are no freeze plugs at rear of engine. If you have a coolant leak at the rear of the engine it may be coming from the heater control valve mounted at the rear top of the engine. Very difficult to get to. The valve is made of plastic and it was/is a high failure item. The wiper blades have to come off, the shield over the passenger side. You can see the valve if you raise the car up and look up on the passenger side or you can slip your hand back to the valve and see if its wet. Wish I could be of more help.

My 99 grand prix air condition only gets gold on the passenger side and blows hot air through the left three air vents.

same motor for all vents, try changing the filter for the ac,its located under the hood, in between the firewall and under the black plastic wiper cover on the left hand side. Remove it first to see if it works, if it does replace it. If it doesnt work or blow more air the fan might be going bad. I have 2 grandprix and that was the issue with mine.
