SOURCE: Interior Carpet Getting Wet
It sounds like a plugged drain line from the air conditioner. Most cars now run in the a/c mode whenever u turn on the climate control (even when heat is on). The passenger side front is where it would be wet, and the carpet and carpet pad act like a sponge and will soak up the water. Let me know how u make out.

i would check water in radiator as sounds like the heater box under the dash is leaking and will certainly end up on floor

under car pass side just behind tire on firewall looking for tube that makes 90 degree bend make sure not clogged if still leaking check for cracks in the evap case

In that case either the drain tube is partially clogged or the drip pan has a leak. Clean the hose with a long tie-zip from underneath the car and look for the origin of the leak under the dash - if you can see it you can plug it.

thats also where the heater core is located,, check the hoses that go to it, you have a inlet and return,, with any luck thats the problem, if not you may need a heater core repair,, check the radiator to see if the fluid has dropped way down
