SOURCE: Interior Carpet Getting Wet

It sounds like a plugged drain line from the air conditioner. Most cars now run in the a/c mode whenever u turn on the climate control (even when heat is on). The passenger side front is where it would be wet, and the carpet and carpet pad act like a sponge and will soak up the water. Let me know how u make out.

I have a Lexus RX300 that leaks inside on the floor boards when it rains. I have checked the sunroof drains and the drains at the bottom of the windshield. Does anybody have any other suggestions?

Is it only when it rains or when you have the ac on? I had one that the ac condensation drip line plugged up and it would soak the front passenger side floor.

Rainwater pooling inside front passenger floor. How do I fix?

Make sure there is no obstruction ( leaves/debris ) in the drain channels located under the wiper cowling. Has the windshield ever been replaced? If so, it may not be properly sealed.

Heater core is leaking on the floor

I had the same problem with my 2001 Mercury Marquis, but it wasn't the heater core, it was the compartment for the condensate drain for the air conditioning and the compartment to catch the rain water that comes down the windshield and drains through the windshield wiper cowling. You have to take off windshield wiper on passenger side and cowling underneath the wiper of the passenger side and you will see a screen over in the corner and that's where the box is for the drain. so much trash was down in there that the flapper wouldn't open to let the water out. Ours only leaked when it rained, but it looked like it could have been the heater core. Good luck.

Where are the chassis drain plugs on a 2003 Pontiac bonneville? My car leaks in the trunk and onto the floor on the front passenger floor

Your trunk leak most likely is rubber seal that runs the perimeter of trunk when trunk lid is open. Leak on pass floor can be a combination of things. Heater core or if car has sunroof, there is drains that run down windshield posts. Carpet will be wet and sticky if heater core is leaking (not to mention coolant level low) If it's sunroof drain, car has to be put on a lift and drains blown out with compressed air.

Passanger side floor is wet with water not antifreeze3 what can i do to stop this

Windshields can leak as the glue/sealant gets old and hard and cracks. The small area behind the hood and in front of the windshield collects run off and diverts it to a drain. The drain often gets plugged and the rainwater finds its way into the passenger compartment. If you have a sunroof, that is another place for leaks growing more frequent a the years pass. You just have to pull the flooring up and track the wet spot back to its source. Water generally leaves a trail of corrosion to follow.

A puddle appears on the front passenger side floor when it rains and car has been parked not used. Nothing else appears wet except the floor.

GM cars used to be notorious for leaking rain water in around the edge of the front windshield. There is also a rainwater drainage system on the front, generally where the wipers are located and the drain hole on the bottom of that can become clogged.

drill a hole through the floor as a quick fix ,if it gets in let it out ,then check for the leak ,try under the firewall where the AC drain pipe is ,it could be the same pipe for drain water coming in from air intake vents

Wher is the fuel filter located on a 2003 Mercury Mountaineer and how do you change it?

Mercury Mountaineer fuel filter is located in front and on top of fuel tank behind two shields. . When you look just behind the front passenger side tire you will see the first shield. Behind that is the second. U will need to buy the fuel line release tools to get the lines off the filter, any good auto parts store will have these.
