Speedometer, gas gauge, odometer, rpm gauge not working

98 nissan frontier speedometer, odometer, gas gauge rpm gauge not working i'm guessing if the wires are fine its the sensors, i havent done odometer speedometer repairs, but know where and what it is on some cars. i dont know about the rpm gauge, and im guessing the gas gauge it will be the fuel pump or wiring to the fuel pump

Hi- report back what happens, look in fusebox for bad fuse for instrument cluster- replace if bad- if works now- its fixed , if not, maybe bad cluster panel--report back what happens----keep smiling

98 NISSIAN FRONTIER XE. My odometer and speedometer is not working.
You may have a faulty instrument cluseter. Have a service station test the panel for faults.

What do I do if I the gas gauge and speedometer doesnt work?
No help but my gauges stopped working at about the same time on my '98 Frontier. So far, the fuel, temp., speedometer, odometer and trip gauges don't work or some work at different times after starting the engine.

All of a sudden my speedometer and my gas gauge quit working
If it would of been only your speedometer I would of tell you to replace your speed sensor. But in this case you gas gauge stopped working as well so I would recommend taking your whole cluster to a mechanic he will try to fix those two items, otherwise you will need to replace the whole cluster, same thing happened to me. Good luck

yes the transmission speed sensor has most likely failed, to confirm this have a trouble code test run

I have a 1998 Nissan frontier 2.4 automatic Transmission wiring issues the book calls for a 98-04 trans will fit I got a 03 to put in it the 98 has 4 wires coming out of it 2 red 1 blue 1black the 03 only has 3 wires 1 red 1 blue 1 black was wondering if they are linked together on inside and how do I hook it up
