  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions section.
  2. Remove the rear wheels.
  3. Remove the drums.
  4. Remove the automatic adjuster spring and lever.
  5. Remove the hold-down clips and pins.
  6. Rotate the automatic adjuster starwheel enough so both shoes move out far enough to be free of the wheel cylinder boots.

If your check engine light is coming on, then there should be a trouble code stored in your computer to tell you what area to look in for problem. Run into an autozone, or Pep Boys & get a free scan and see what they say comes up for codes & then if not obvious what the problem is, get back to us & we'll help you out.

Testimonial: "hey thanks for the advice, i did what you said and the code was a p1390. do you have any clue on how i can go about fixing whatever the problem is?"

Hello Cramyll

The fuse you are looking for is fuse #14, a 20 amp fuse in the under hood power distribution fuse box.
If the fuse is good, the most likely cause is the socket itself.
Sometimes the wires at the rear of the socket will come loose and go open circuit.
Also because most dashes are plastic, the ground circuit is important to verify good.

If you need more assistance with this please ask me here, be glad to help.

Thank you for using FixYa.

My fuse panel dose not say which one is for rear defrost my 2005 dodge neon and I have no owners manual

The fuse you need is in the fuse box inside the vehicle. It will be behind a trim panel in the end of the dashboard with the vehicle door open. Check fuses 6 and 7. Some features in a vehicle share a fuse. **Note** ALWAYS replace a fuse with one the same colour and Amp rating.
try this website it lists most fuses and which fuse box it is in.

Non working horn

There are a few things that it could be.

The horn is defective. You can test it by hooking 12v to it directly.

The relay is defective.

The horn switch is defective

The fuse is blown.

There is no power to the circuit.

First check fuse.
Second check horn.
Third check horn switch or bypass switch to test
Fourth check relay.
