Bought a 1999 saturn had been parked about 3 yrs drove it home 15 miles then died the battery was from car I currently drive. Got a jump would keep dying drained my battery please help

intermittents are sometimes hard to diagnose out !! and this seems as one , im curious though what made them wiggle the relays and fuses ?? was there a previous problem there ?? depending on year of manufacture of car , is weather or not the cars own pcu can help diagnose what made car stop , as later models "remember " what there last condition was that shut off engine , of course this requires diagnostic equipment to see this info that typically car owners don't own , but a qualified service tech does and knows how to use it to find your problem

it is the alternator or the regulator. get parts store to swap out under warranty.

new batt if it is over 3 yrs old-needs to always be at 12.6 v--its not holding charge well--have it load tested--probly only gettn a surface charge onit-it will fool u

You never leave a car running, as it will
overheat the Exhaust Converter
When you run out of fuel, you sometimes
ruin the Fuel Pump
It depends on gas to lubricate it,as strange as it sounds
Check fuel pressure & volume at the motor with a gauge

alternator problem ,start engine the remove a battery terminal if engine stops renew the alternator

sounds like it could have ignition module failing,also possibly coil starting to go.I seen same problem on 92 hatchback,put module and coil on and runs fine.goodluck...

Sounds like your battery or your charging system went south. Begin by removing the battery and having it tested. Regards, Joe

Confirm the condition of your battery then check the ignition switch and power distribution box for any loose connections

It sounds like you have some **** in the gas tank that is being drawn to the pickup blocking it.
Have seen this and because it seems so random, it can drive ya nuts.

You might carry a coffee can with you and pull the line from the fuel rail when this happens stick it in the can and just have someone turn the key on for a few seconds.
Beware though, it comes out with force.

Also possible is a failed fuel pressure regulator.
Those aren't expensive and . . . well, not very good either.
