2007 Ford Explorer horn quit working?

check the wire at the relay that goes to the horn first and see if voltage is being switched to the wire that goes to the horn. If no voltage or earth wire being switched you may not need to go to the trouble of looking at the horn wire . The most common way on most vehicles would be to undo the plastic clips that hold the mud protection under the wheel arch there may be a plastic screw s that screws into the plastic clips. Undo and remove these screws and then pull out the clips . Screws could be straight into the metal depends on the vehicle maker. the horn relay will be under the cars bonnet in a plastic box compartment for special fuses and relays.
