Your fuses are under the steering wheel by your brake pedal on the left side ... I'm not sure which 1 is for your cigarette lighter but it'll be 1 of them... Just check them all While your car is off and out of the ignition.

part of the rear of the cigarette lighter is a built in fuse which blows when shorted. Fix is a new cigarette lighter are a lil soldier acrodd the terminals. Be carefull not to use the earth one though.
The fuse for the cigarette lighter is located in the fuse box on the driver side of the car under the dash. It is a blue 15 amp fuse. When you open this fuse box, you will see some larger relays with 4 rows of fuses below it. The fuse you are looking for is the first fuse in the 2nd row. in the 2002 X-type, that fuse is a little taller than the other ones.
