Screen/radio/check gauges/dash HELP!

The flashing light on your car is telling there is a problem. On some vehicles require a OBD2 code scanner for the diagnosis. Once you know the code, you can most likely repair it yourself. There are fairly easy procedures that most people are capable of repairing.

u might have same problem as i had and turned out to be the (pcm) power train control modual

Also check brake switch adjustment, it is the interrupter.

More than likely needs a crank sensor, Try cranking with the crank sensor disconnected, you should not get the dashes in the cluster. The crank sensors take out the communication system of the vehicle

Review the Repair Manual ZJ-Secc-8E-Instrument-Cluster-and-Gauges

You need to remove the trim panel of the steering column, with other parts; the work is easy.

Make an scanning for faults, I suggest a electric problem with the plug connectors or fuse.

You have all the fuse locations. I have seen some that after radio was put in did that. usually it turns out that re-grounding the dash or using different power supplies for the radio has corrected it. otherwise, I'd check the light switch and make sure it's OK.

there are loose wires in the dash that could be touching are burnt out.need re wiring

Hello and welcome to FixYa . Locate the dial that controls the brightness of the dashboardlights. If the control is not immediately evident. Make sure the brightness control is turned on. If it is and the lights aren't working, the problem may be a bad fuse. Check the fuse that controls the dashboard lights Replace the fuse if necessary. If just one part of the instrument panel is not lighting up, then you have either a burned-out bulb or a wiring problem.
