When you slow down,left off the gas....stop it acts as if it wants to stall
Damage catalic converter partially blocked will make vehicle do all systems you are description. Car can't get rid of exhaust gases causing too much pressure in engine.

Rough running is from misfires. Light flashing is telling you that you are about to cause damage the catalytic converters. On your car it could be coils or the ignition module. To check, swap coils. If the misfire follows, replace the coil. if it doesn't, replace the ignition module under the coils.

Continual misfire that can damage the converter when flashing. Could be bad coil/wire/plug .

If the lamp is flashing, it usually means the emissions have exceeded the federal standards. Caused by what, I'm not sure, at the moment? It may go into some type of limp home mode?
Well when she leaves work I will meet her, and drop it off at garage..being Sunday it can be looked at tomorrow.
