Indicatot lamp symbol allway lighted "on" - 1999 Mazda MX-5 Miata

This symbol should represent Fog Lamps. What does the vehicle have for front lighting options? Along with low and high beam lights. Does the vehicle have fog lights?

Fog Lamps The fog lamps switch is located in the instrument panel switchbank. Push the fog lamp symbol on the switch to turn on the lamps. The indicator light will glow. Push the ribbed part of the switch to turn them off. The indicator light will go off. Your parking lamps or headlamps must be on for your fog lamps to go on.

the lamps are all marked, at to what they are
in words or icon symbols.
they are called warning lights. the operators guide covers them.
if lost, get one at citroen.

The blue symbol on the panel it look like water on the bottom is the "cold engine" warning lamp. If the blue water lamp lights on the dashboard panel do not raise the engine speed too much! Only under 2000 rpm, until the blue water lamp will turn off.

CHECK ALL FUSES FIRST, CHECK FOR LOOSE WIRES OR CONNECTIONS IN BOOT

If you have a service vehicle soon light (not service engine soon) this usually indicates a problem with the foreward lamp system.Your problem seems confusing, but check your high beam lamp operation. These cars are NOTORIOUS for corroded harnesses to the headlights. The problem is usually buried behind the washer bottle or across the radiator area. If you are lucky, it may be a burned out high beam bulb. If the blue symbol for brights stays on and there is no click when pulling on high beam lever, you will need a new turn signal switch.

if it is the light i think you are talking about,it is telling you that you have a parking light or a brake light out.if the light doesn't come on till you hit the brake pedal it is a brake lamp if it comes on as soon as you start the car it is a tail lamp. let me know if this helps.

Allways you need removal the fog light.
