On some vehicles, you reset the TPMS warning ligh after you have inflated tyres by pressing a button or switch on the instrument panel. On other vehicles, the TPMS system will automatically reset itself and turn the TPMS warning light off after the vehicle has been driven a few miles after re-inflating the tyres.

Buick rendezvous low tire pressure light

After checking/adjusting all tire's pressure (including spare, some spares have a tire pressure sending unit), turn ignition "ON" (NOT "START", just the position key is at when you are driving).
Press the MODE button until LOW TIRE PRESSURE HOLD SET TO RESET is displayed.
Press and hold the SET button until a chime sounds and TIRE PRESSURE RESET is displayed and a chime sounds 3 times.
Release the SET button and TIRE PRESSURE NORMAL is displayed.

How do i reset the low tire pressure light

The only way to reset the low tire pressure light is to fill the tires to the recommended pressure. If all of the tires on the ground are at the proper inflation remember that the spare also has a pressure sensor so you will have to check it also. If one of the tire pressure sensors is damaged from remounting a flat or otherwise it will not send a signal to the low tire pressure module.

How do you reset low tire light

1. check and make sure that your tires are inflated to the correct pressure

2. turn the ignition switch to the ON position. If the low tire pressure warning light comes on, push and hold the tire pressure warning reset switch (think the switch is in the glovebox, but not sure) until the warning light turns off and then release the switch.

3. now press and hold the tire pressure warning reset switch until the low tire pressure warning light blinks three times.

4. initialization is *not* completed until driving at the vehicle speed of 19 mph or over for more than one hour. the tire pressure monitoring starts when initialization is completed.

Low tire light came on - tire pressure ok

Because of changing outside temps this happens, just hold reset button on left side of dash until it reads tire pressure 100% again, just make sure your pressure is right before you do it. this is the same for oil changes and the like.

Reseting the Lights

To reset the low tire pressure light, take off the fuse panel located on the driver's side when you open the door it should be right there. There is a red reset button hold it for 10 secs then let go and push it again which will cause the low tire pressure light to flash, then hold the button for an additional 5 secs or until you three beeps then it will go off. The same goes for the change oil light as well. Hope this helps.
