My 2002 toyota solara just shut down while driving and hasnt started up since changed my starter and all it does is click when i turn the key over

In my experience, clicking is usually a battery problem. I suggest taking the battery to your local auto parts store and having it tested to determine if it is okay or not.

This means you have a dead spot on your starter. It will happen again probably when the starter stops on the dead spot in the future. If it does hit the starter with a mallet to move it off the dead spot then try the key to start it. Best of luck. Bro

Consider trying with another battery. Possibly the battery is dying bcos the alternator is not charging up to rating.

Car starts whenever it wants to

maybe try looking into your fuel pump. When they are getting bad you can get all sorts of irratic starting problems
