Yhe problem is the hazard switch wasnt ever engaged. Flashers just came on by themselves while driving down the road.

  • Anonymous Apr 04, 2015

Thanks. Hope it is something as simole as that or a relay or something. So far the only way I can drive it is either with the flashers on and oull fuse when i stop or leave fuse out which then givrs me no brake lights or working instrument cluster in the dash

Possible faulty E-Flasher switch-Possible faulty flasher relay.....Other problem(s) may be present....As this vehicle is equipped with a BCM (Body Control Module),best to have a pro w/proper tools & experience fault trace said issue.

SOURCE: Have hazard lights but no running or turn signals

sounds like you need a combo flasher assembly..located in fuse block inside vehicle under steering column..there may be a plastic cover under dash you have to remove to see fuse block..large black relay that plugs into fuse block..if you pick up a new one,you will see what it looks like..available at dodge dealer..combo flasher or drl/signal relay

My turn signal, hazards, brake lights, fuel gauge, tach all went out.

do simple checks first. many of the electrical systems will become non-working from one or maybe 2 burned out fuses. check those first. Inspect the fuse if your needing to replace it, and make sure that there are no burned areas on the old before replacing with new, and always replace with the same amp fuse as the old to prevent shortages.Hope this helped you!

Fuse box,, relays ?

Disconnect the battery for a minute or two and reconnect it. Sometimes the BCM (body control module) locks up.

2001 Dodge Caravan, all gauges and dash instruments are out HELP!

check in the fuse box on the drivers side under the hood. Check for "display lights" or "Dash" maybe even under "ACC". For the signals check for "turn signals" or "Lights" Should be 15 and 20 amp fuses. Replace those and everything should work. If you cannot find the signals and other things in the fuse box when checking the diagram, then look at all the 15 and 20amp fuses by pulling them out with needle nose plyers. Whichever fuses look cracked, snapped or burnt should be replaced. You could pick up a pack of fuses at a gas station or autoparts store for about $2.99
