SOURCE: the air conditioning quit blowing

Check the fuses for each circuit. Fuses may be blown. Cause for a fuse to blow is a short in the circuit. Hope this helps

SOURCE: 1993 Varvan, Not Turn Signals, No Heater Blower, And AIr Bag Light Now On

boy, that sound like a major circuit to cause all that. either a main fuse under the hood or a main circuit wiring harness connector. there are no unfused circuits that could indicate a short unless there has been past fuse blowing problems

SOURCE: ac/heater blower quit working power windows

check main power panel under the hood for aux fuse, should be in the 40 to 60 amp range possibly slightly larger than standard fuses.

Have a look at your fuses, i recommend a workshop as a valuable source of reference they are available at library sometimes, it sounds like a short circuit. Inspect as much of your wiring visually as possible clean it as you go, and look for any signs of corrosion (usually green deposits) near the ends of the wires, also any obviously burned components. If so replace any insufficient components for good measure after this is where test equipment is required and usually trained people to operate it.

Blower motor quit working at the same time power windows also quit air bag lite stays on

I first thought it was a common fuse relay that fed both those circuits but after looking at the schematics they are separate 20A fused window and 30A fused blower motor fed through a resistor pack. There is a separate 10A fuse that does illumination of heat selector speeds.

Turnsignal switch, brake switch, windows, and heater blower stoped workingdodge electrical problems

air bag power runs off the same power line you may have a faulty air bag been fitted.it may have burn't out the voltage control unit for the ignition. or the air bag has not been wire'd in properly and its shorted out the trip in the control unit. you will need to remove the air bag, ( battery off car wait 20min ) remove the air bag. and have it tested. there have been a lot of copy air bags been reported and they are more dangerous than they should be cause electrical fires or in an accident they explode in your face. and when explode they do do some damage to your face..... would have this check.

Air bag Light Stays on.

The seat cushion has an occupant sensor. if it detects occupant and no buckle latch , it may see this as a fault. You may also have a switch failure in the buckle assembly as well.

I got a 97 sable. the windows work some time, the gas gauge does crazy things, the air bag light comes on, lot of electical issues. Something kills the battery somesimes when it sits and some times it dont....

Really depends on what was done. The windows, gas gauge, air bag and such are not connected to the computer.

Sounds like a Relay is staying on when the key is shut off. You need to do "Power Off" testing with an Ohmmeter to see what is still turned on when the car is at rest.

Only a few circuits are on when the car is not. The Security system, radio clock, and Remote brain are left on with the key off. Other than those, nothing should be grounded ( meaning the positive and negative charges stay separate).

You could even have a bad ignition switch which may not really turn off.

Does the air bag need to be disconnected when replacing a stearing wheel cruis control switch on a 2001 buick lesabre custom?

Anytime you are working on the steering wheel or steering column, the battery should be disconnected and the power drained from the car.
If a wire is shorted in the air bag circuit the bag could deploy.
Even if the ignition is turned off.
The standard procedure is to leave the door open and disconnect the battery, then wait 5 or 10 min to drain power from the car.

I have a 2002 Ford F250 Diesel Super Duty SuperCab and the Air Conditioning stopped blowing cold today. When I looked under the hood, I noticed that the air conditioning unit (it looks like a clutch plate...

Try unhooking one of the battery cables and leave it off for at least 20 minutes. When you hook it back up the computers should re-boot. That has solved problems for me with heater, interior lites, power windows, AC, day time running lites, power mirrors, fast idle, rough or slow shifting, CD player, and wipers on GM autos and S-10 PU and Dodge trucks. None of the switches are connected to the device they control anymore. The switch tells the computer to open the window and the computer sends a signal to the window motor. When the computer gets confused strange things will happen or not happen. Things like one headlight stays off etc. I actually had to do it twice on my Bonneville because the first time the AC blower would only work in low and medium. After the second re-boot, everything was fine. Of course you may have to re-set your radio stations.
