I have a 1998 gmc SONOMA sls. I have put a ton of work into. I've had it a year, and has not ran good but only once. It has a new battery, waterpump, air intake sencor, idle control sencor, the sencor that maintains the air/ gas pressure in the manifold, even the fuel pressure regulator. The fuel gage, has never been right. It flips from full to empty. The truck starts with effort, half the time. You have to prime it with gas. To get it to kick over. Then it runs for a half minute to a minute then dies as though it run out of gas.what the heck is wrong with this Chevy???? 1998 gmc SONOMA sls, with a 4.3 vortec

Smell of the oil,to see if the fuel injector(spider)is leaking into the crank case,if so,the intake will have to be removed to repair the problem,oh,and change the oil.

Fuel. Check fuel pressure. Replace the fuel filter. When you do this and if you still have problems. Then go after the fuel injection. It is under the plenum on top of the engine. This is a pricey part. I would replace the fuel pressure regulator first(still under the plenum) then replace the spider injection, as they call it. But when you get in there and you see the plastic injector lines broken, replace it all.

I have a gmc sls sonoma v6 4x4 what battery do i use in it.

Your local parts store will know they will look it up on their computer when you describe your vehicle. No charge cause they want to sell you the battery.

2003 Sonoma does not turn-over

U have lost the battery, check the cables, if they are clean (no corrsion) replace the battery, modern sealed batteries fail like this, crank fine and then puff nothing, happened to at least 5 times over the years and saw it all the time at work.
