it sounds like you may have a pressure problem , not a flooding issue , this is a fuel injected motor and is probably losing fuel pressure , this could be at the gas tank , fill cap , fuel filter, to the injector rail , many places to check , I would have this checked by a pro as this is a fuel issue "BOOM"
Have you checked Google I found this hopefully it's not your timing or it may be flooded but doubtful have you tried spraying starting fluid into the intake while cranking it
You have a bad injector or a defective throttle control switch. You can test the throttle switch if you have a ohm meter, if you do get back to me and I will tell you how to test it.
S-10 blazer with 4.3? If so, its the "spyder" injector. One of the injectors is stuck open and fuel is pouring into the engine as soon as you turn the key on. Very common problem. Be sure to change oil after you replace the injector unit, a lot of that gas will be in the oil.
