My car has a rich gas smell then when it warms up smells like rotten eggs does it have something to do with the cadillac converter?

does your car have AC.... ? ac problems can make a eggy smell also a damaged catalytic converter do the same. eggy smell can be the gas from the ac leaking out. you would need to have this check as it can do harm to your lungs..

There is an alternate reason for the rotten egg smell. this also can be caused by a over charged battery. if so, make sure the alternator isn't overcharging the battery cell. it will boil the contents causing the egg smell. I recommend a diagnostic run to make sure what this problem is.
