Trying to find the brake fluid reservoir in my car. Dash brake light has been ON for one day and my brakes have been going to the floor for two days. I just had a total break job less than 6,500 miles ago. Am hoping to add/check brake fluid to eliminate the problem.

SOURCE: Estimate cost of a total brake job
if you just need pads and shoes or pads all around the parts should cost about 50 bucks. if you need rotors and or drums the drums will be about 40-60 a piece the rotors 25-70 a piece. if you take it to a brake shop it will cost you about 400-500 for an all around job. they aint cheap. if you can find a friend are a mechanic to do it for you it will be about 150- 300 . remember this is just a rough estimate. please rate this

on the 93 there is a problem with the abs system. there are several things that could be wrong. if i remember correctly the module is behind the passenger side kick panel. you will find a single wire coming off the module. if you ground it then turn on the key it will flash the brake lights in the dash. count the flashes this is the code for the error. it will help in the repair. as for the second truck you have a leak that needs repaired.
SOURCE: Screeching noise coming from driver side tire
The high pitch sound may come from the brake pads as metal parts hit the disc to signal the owner that it needs change. The metal parts gets exposed when the pads have worn out. The brake also has a hub to cover the disc. See if the metal plate is hitting it but this issue would appear when the wheels are in motion. Check if it is the belts, have the tension checked out. Other than that the bearings are the other items on your wheel that could cause a high pitched sound when you car is in motion.
SOURCE: brakes how do i add brake fluid to a 2005 dodge caravan?
Take the van to an autoparts store and let them know that you need brake fluid added and are not familiar with the master cylinder location and they will probably check the fluid level for you and add some if needed. You will have to purchase the brake fluid. Most parts stores will do this as a free courtesy service. Hope this helped and best wishes.
