There will be NO visual verification when entering the override code. Head units with a Up / Down Volume control buttons: Press and hold the Volume Up button. While holding the Volume Up button, push and hold the Disp button. The “_ _ _ _” will disappear after about 5 sec. Enter KCAR using the remote control from a higher end CD Receiver or any Excelon CD Receiver.
