Brake and ABS warning light. Fuse blow every five to seven days.
Never install larger fuses. You have an intermittent short. you need to trace the wires back to the source to find where they are damaged. You MAY also find an ABS error with an OBD II test unit if your vehicle supplies ABS error codes.
I know its a long shot but is it possible you have trapped or cut the wiring harness during the work and its shorting out on the frame etc.
Go back through the work carefully.
You probably have a bad ground somewhere where maybe a ground wire didn't get installed in the correct location or there is corrosion in and around the bolt. I would check the wires relating to the abs system and see what you find

I would bypass abs contraption with new line.(87 dually) abs located under drivers side cab looks very susceptible and is known to fail.I would trust my foot before that old thing.Im rippin it out of my truck & replacing it with new line all the way back.Old lines rusted pretty bad.Better safe than sorry.unplug light bulb or just leave it in .Jersey cant say anything if its 94 or older at inspection.that goes for all the lights. For me,older is better.I dont know what setup you have or if you sold it, you could try replacing it for about 160 at advanced.I hope its not the computer screwin up,thats probably a dealer item.Try unpluging hydraulic unit for shits & giggles.Go over rear brakes again before you start cutting.

My Suburban had the same issue. Replacing the ABS control module did the trick, second one, the first was replaced under warranty. I used these guys http://modulemaster.com/en/index.php with success. It was very simple to replace, four screws. Hope this helps.
SOURCE: My brake lights do not work for 1998 ford explorer
Fuse #14 has nothing to do with brake lights, test fuse # 9, and fuse # 13, if they test good with a 12 volt test light (avail at any auto parts store for around $6.00) do the following:
Test the brake light switch at the brake pedal, use a 12 volt test light, probe one side until u find power, then press the pedal, at that point the other terminal should have power as well, if not replace the brake light switch, if this switch checks ok replace the turn signal switch.
SOURCE: brake switch fuse keeps blowing
I Have the same problem with my 97 ford keeps blown fuse 15 amp, when I step on the brake pedal,to shift out of park it blows the fuse.can someone help me out what to look for.I replaced the switch on brake pedal that wasn't it.
