Check the power Window Relay Fuse which should be located in the engine compartment relay fuse box. This fuse is a bigger square or rectangle with a black plastic or metal looking case. unlike the tiny colored plastic glass looking type you see in the inside fuse panel

Passenger front window wont go up or down and motor makes no noise. What causes this?

First thing I look for is make sure child lockout button is NOT depressed. (I see that A LOT)

After that, there are two things to look for.
1. No power.
Could be a blown fuse, a bad switch. If you've tried both and the child lock is not the problem, I would put the switch at a lower probability. maybe a broken wire - usually around the door to pillar boot.

2. bad window motor.

There are easy ways to test this, but all involve removing the inner door panel.

after the panel is off, use a test light, unplug the window motor, put the test light in each of the connections and try your window switches. if you get power, then it is most likely the motor.

If you do NOT get power, then you are chasing a fuse, a bad switch, or a broken wire some where.

I hope this helps

I have a 2002 chevy silverado and i have changed the switch and the motor on the passenger side window and it still doesnt work

If you changed the switch in the passenger door, the problem may be in the master switch in the driver's door. It powers the passenger side switch.

1998 Toyota Sienna. Problem: Passenger side windows won?t go up. I have replaced window motor but still won?t work. I don?t hear the new motor running when I use two (driver and passenger) switches. I...

Have you tried replacing the master window switch? Just because the other windows work doesnt mean that switch for that window is good.

The main switch is controled by the drivers door main unit.....i had to use a forward force on my windows switch for it to work....so replaced the whole unit, you could find those on ebay cheap if local auto parts is expensive
