I appreciate the advice, hoping I can get this fixed. It is not the headlights because I can turn the headlights on and off, It is the running lights (the tail lights and the emergency flashing lights in front)"They are constantly on unless I unhook positive on battery Can you please help me?

Engine will not turn off when I turn the key off and remove it

If your engine still runs when you removes the spark plug wires... you have other problems... PLEASE take this to a professional and DO NOT run it unless mandatory.

Replaced battery and alternator it still wont start unless charger is on boost then runs for 10 min then dies wont restart unless battery charger on it again?

Either the battery is a dud, (cant retain a charge) or the alternator is not charging possibly due to a wire not connecting or wires incorrectly connected or both. Check voltage at the alternator (large terminal) without motor running, should be around 12 to 13 volts

Well I have a 1998 GMC Suburban SLT that has a problem I have to jumpstart twice a day or whenever i shut the car off I replaced all the wireing (except the battery cables) got a new altanator and new fuse...

Simply put it sounds like you have something draining the battery, the daytime running lights came out way before 2001. I have a 98 and there are daytime running lights on mine. When the vehicle is running there should be a green light in your cluster in the top left corner, that comes on whenever you start the truck. that signal also will shut off when you actually turn your headlights on. if there are any accessories plugged in or running live, lights, amp/subs, xm radio, car charger for a cell phone. Anything like this could be draining the battery, along with interior light left on. Check everything make sure all is either unplugged, disconnected, or turned off. That should about solve the problem... hopefully. Good Luck!

The key won't turn off completely to remove from ignition unless i remove the pos battery cable first

DONT REMOVE POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE FIRST YOU WILL SHORT OUT THE PCM AND THE ALTERNATOR.IN CASE YOU CANT TURN OFF CAR ONE TIME DEAL DISCONNECT NEGATIVE BATTERY FIRST. BUT FIRST TURN OFF RADIO BEFORE REMOVING BATTERY CABLE.YOU NEED TO FIX IGNITION SWITCH LOCK CYLINDER DONT KEEP DISCONNECTING BATTERY WHILE ENGINE RUNNING BECAUSE YOU WILL DAMAGE PCM.AND SHORT OUT ALTERNATOR VOLTAGE REGULATOR.

B2100= ignition run/start input circuit performance u0126= lost communication with steering u0114= lost communication with final drive output module (2times) u110a= lost communication with SCM-CAN-C ...

no year stated, are you kidding?
good luck fixing this. not at dealer, or a real ASE shop.
wow, 2, does car run perfectly, gee, that be #1 right?

can bus errors.
what you can do is.:
  1. test all fuses.
  2. charge car battery up to 12.6vdc rested, !!!
  3. clear them all with scan tool do they come back? yes?/no?
  4. unplug battery for 1 hours, (neg lug off only) and put back
  5. fixed?
  6. unplug all modules (up to 11) 1 by one, battery unplugged. and see that connector looks clean, and put it back.
  7. or unplug one , see if some errors clear. and only module unplugged is now in error,
  8. The can-buss is shared highway, and has 1 lane. so if one module takes a dump on it, the others cant talk on said bus.
  9. That means its hard to find, unless you take a class in CAN-BUS 101. how to diagnose it.
  10. go to a real shop with ASE badge on sleeve and gray side burns, and win, a real mech, wont make excuses but In fact most shop do not have the powerful scan tool jeep has. not nearly. Find a shop that can diagnose CAN-BUS, if they go , what's that, MOVE ON !

How do i unplug my daytime running lamps??? they will not shut off unless i unhook battery.....thanks holly

If you are talking about the lights inside of the car there is dimmer switch on the left of the steering wheel that is below the air vent. If that is turned all the way up the lights inside will stay on even if all the doors are shut. Turn that down and the lights inside should turn off. Hope this helps!

Air conditioner unit started squealing and then all the guages quit working and the car eventually died. everytime I charge the battery the car will run as long as I dont use radio, lights, wipers, or...

broken belt comes to mind? If the a/c squealed that ment it locked up. If it locked up? the belat cant turn it, Creating a burn out effect, Hence breaking the belt. Replace the A/c Pump and belt. You will be fine, Unless you overheat the engine from no belt turning the waterpump???

How do I turn off the "check engine" light?

go to autozne and get a free computer scan to see what fault code you have stored. fix fault, then disconnect battery for 2 hours to clear code and light.

One headlight turns off and driving lights when brights turned on

First, it is a factory setting that turns the running lights off when the bright lights are turned on, so that's nothing to worry about. Now the headlight issue could just be a bulb. If this has a headlamp for both high and low, it is possible it just blew the high beam part. If there are seperate lamps for high and low beams, then try replacing the bulb. It should not be an electrical problem unless you had to remove or disturb alot of parts to change the wires and plugs. Let me know if this helps :)
