Srs light just came on with 52000 miles

smart guy yes scan codes ,will tell you a lot , and--- price look at auto site (NADA) and kelly blue book one might be high and one low in price for car just do the math, and that should give you a better idea of what to pay .good luck

you take it some one to has code scanner or you can but one , any's if you can find out what the code is you maybe able to fix it yourself.

The cheap fix will only work if there is no current problem. Disconnect battery for 30 sec. If the light stays on there is a current problem and that needs to be repaired for the light to go off. Unfortunately the only way to find out why the light is on for sure is to get it scanned at a shop. Some auto stores will scan for free. I know Autozone does for sure.

to funny, My car an 07 equinox with 52000 miles on it just today started sputtering. I googled equinox sputtering and I came up with this sight reporting the same exact problem-- help

Change the oxygen sensor down by the catylitic converter, on bank 2

Take to parts store they can run a scanner and tell you exactly what is wrong with it

There is a service bulletin for this. 10 year 150,000 mile warrenty for it. Call the dealer and have them take a look. I got mine fixed free on my 2000 tl with 105,000 miles on.

Does it have leather seats?? if so, you most likely need one of the side air bags. Most likely drivers side.

I have 2002 Odyssey( 59000 miles without warranty). Several months ago the SRS light stayed on after I started the car. Some people said the dealers usually charge $ 80 to 95 to reset the light. Today I sent the car to dealer. After checking the car, they told me the car is under warranty, the parts and repairing are free.
